Suffolk County Police Department Murders Featured on In Pursuit With John Walsh

Last night, the Suffolk County Police Department Homicide Squad was featured on In Pursuit with John Walsh as they profile the case of wanted fugitive Colin Jerrick who is linked to two Suffolk County homicides that occurred in 2020.

Ajala Carpenter-Toney, 23, was shot to death by Jerrick while attending a party on Grand Boulevard in Wyandanch on June 13, 2020. Seven other people were shot during the party, with one man remaining in a coma for months following the incident. Jerrick is also wanted in connection to the murder of Elbert Wright, 28, of Massapequa, who was killed on July 31, 2020 in North Amityville.
Jerrick, 42, whose last known address is 46 Miller Ave. in North Amityville, has ties to Huntington Station, Bay Shore, Florida and Guyana.

The episode, “Stolen Innocence,” aired at 9 p.m. on Investigation Discovery is now streaming on Discovery+.
