WOONSOCKET, RI – Police in Woonsocket have reported the bodies of an elderly man and woman were found in the home of former Woonsocket Mayor Susan Menard.
Police said the bodies were severely decomposed upon their arrival after entering the home in HAZMAT suits. Police responded to the home after a foul stench was reported coming from the home.
“Woonsocket Police Chief Thomas Oates identified the victims as an “elderly male and female,” and confirmed that they were found dead inside a home on Marian Lane, near Lilac Avenue,” WPRI reported.
