MIDDLETOWN, NJ – President Joe Biden will be appearing at a fundraiser at the Monmouth County mansion of New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy on Thursday. The private fundraiser will raise money for Progressive Democrats in New Jersey and beyond just weeks before the important midterm elections in November.
Since Biden took office in the White House, New Jersey governor Phil Murphy has had a prominent seat at the table alongside the president. It is rumored that Governor Phil Murphy could be one of the candidates running for president for the Democratic party in 2024.
Phil Murphy is coming off a 2021 election victory against moderate Republican Jack Ciattarelli. The stop at the Jersey Shore is one of many scheduled fundraisers to be attended by the president as the midterm elections near.
