Driver survives serious crash on Wootton Parkway overnight

10/26/22 at 9:30 p.m. Southbound Wootton Parkway is temporarily closed at Seven Locks Road due to a traffic collision. Driver of vehicle was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

ROCKVILLE, MD – The Rockville City Police Department reported two people were rushed to the hospital and one with serious injuries after a crash in the southbound lanes of Wootton Parkway Wednesday night. At around 9:30 PM, the crash occurred near the area of Tower Oaks. The southbound lanes were closed while the investigation and cleanup were conducted.

Police did not say what caused the crash.
