WASHINGTON, DC – DC Metro Police are searching for a gunman who robbed a business on Benning Road on Saturday.
Police from the Fifth District of the Metropolitan Police Department are seeking assistance from the public to locate a suspect who committed an armed robbery of a business in the 2500 block of Benning Road, Northeast.
The suspect entered an establishment at approximately 6:53 p.m. and approached an employee at the listed location. The suspect brandished a gun and demanded money from the cash registers.
When the employee opened the cash register, the suspect took the money from the cash register and fled the scene.
He was captured on video surveillance cameras. Police are asking the public to assist in identifying him.
