NYPD cop shot, police searching for this suspect with “Jocelyn” tattoo

NEW YORK CITY – A New York City police officer was recently shot in the 103rd Precinct, prompting an urgent investigation by the NYPD. Police Commissioner Keechant L. Sewell has briefed the media about the incident and released photos of an individual wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting. The photos show a distinctive tattoo of the name “Jocelyn” on the suspect’s left hand.

In an effort to apprehend the suspect and bring them to justice, a $10,000 COP-SHOT reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in shooting a New York City police officer.

The NYPD is urging anyone with information about the individual or the incident to call the Cop Shot hotline at 1-800-COP-SHOT (1-800-267-7468). Individuals may also call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
