Two Women Seriously Injured in Separate Richmond Shootings, Investigations Ongoing

RICHMOND, VA – Two women were left with life-threatening gunshot wounds after separate shootings in Richmond on Thursday. The first incident took place around 4 p.m. in the 2400 block of Whitcomb Street, while the second occurred in the 2300 block of Ambrose Street a couple of hours later.

Neither of the victims’ identities have been released, and no suspects have been named in either shooting. The Richmond Police Department is currently investigating both incidents.

These shootings happened within close proximity to a deadly shooting that occurred on Sunday night.

Police have not identified any suspects. No arrests have been made.

It is not known whether or not the shootings are connected.
