EPHRATA, PA – Ephrata Police recently charged Sean P. Quick, 55, of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, with Impersonating a Public Servant after an incident at Ephrata National Bank on March 20, 2023. Bank security personnel alerted police to a man displaying a Central Intelligence Agency badge and attempting to access someone else’s safety deposit box.

Upon arrival, Quick initially claimed to be a Department of Defense employee but eventually admitted that he was not a federal agent and was attempting to access a relative’s safety deposit box without authorization. Quick was not authorized to carry or display the badge, which was determined to be a replica easily purchasable online. Quick is presumed innocent, and the case will proceed to trial.
