Secaucus Police Arrest Suspects in Series of Dunkin’ Donuts Armed Robberies

SECAUCUS, NJ – A series of armed robberies targeting Dunkin’ Donuts locations in the area has led to the arrest of several suspects by the Secaucus Police Department. On April 9, 2023, at 2:56 A.M., officers responded to an armed robbery at the Dunkin’ Donuts located at 216 County Avenue.

Two male suspects, Ocean Roberts and Yanik Pendleton, entered the establishment with Roberts brandishing a black handgun. They demanded cash and stole approximately $350 from the register before fleeing to a waiting Chevrolet Equinox. Wilmer Arias-Dejesus and another unidentified male acted as lookouts during the crime.

Later that day, the same individuals were involved in another armed robbery at a Nutley Dunkin’ Donuts. The Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit, Nutley Police Detectives, and the Springfield Police Department collaborated on an investigation that led to the identification and apprehension of the suspects. On April 11, 2023, Roberts, Pendleton, and Arias-Dejesus were arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.
