Shooting In Northeast D.C. Leaves One Man Dead

WASHINGTON, D.C. – An early morning shooting in Northeast D.C. left one man dead. The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting.

Shortly after midnight, police arrived at the 1500 Block of 19th Street to investigate a shooting report. Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and hip. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity has not been released, and no motive has been released.
