NEW YORK, NY – A man walking along Grand Concourse in the Bronx was attacked by an unknown group of suspects, choked by a chain and robbed last month.
Now, police are asking for the public’s help in identifying individuals involved in an attempted robbery that occurred on March 28, 2023, at the corner of Grand Concourse and East Kingsbridge Road in the Bronx.
The 30-year-old male victim was walking when a group of unknown individuals approached him and attempted to grab the chain around his neck.
As the victim struggled, one of the individuals displayed a knife and stabbed him in the chest, causing a puncture wound. The suspects fled on foot northbound on Grand Concourse, while the victim was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
