Brooklyn, NY – A shooting early this morning at 111 Dinsmore Place has left a 26-year-old man dead, according to the NYPD.
At around 2:17 am, the police received a 911 call about gunshots heard in the area. Responding officers from the 75th Precinct rushed to the scene and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest in front of 235 Richmond Street.
Emergency Medical Services arrived shortly after and rushed the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for treatment. However, the man succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until his family is notified.
No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
