Chambersburg woman charged for stealing car after breaking into home

CHAMBERSBURG, PA – Chambersburg Police Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of Tara Menner after she unlawfully entered a residence on Hamilton Rd, stole a vehicle, and violated a Protection from Abuse (PFA) order.

Menner, who is prohibited from being at the residence, took car keys from inside and fled the scene in the stolen vehicle. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Chambersburg Police Department or leave a tip on Crime Watch.

The charges against Menner include burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, and PFA violation. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Hamilton Rd, Chambersburg.

She is currently being sought by police.
