FREEHOLD, NJ – Trinidad Mendez-Romero, a 32-year-old man from Tinton Falls, pleaded guilty last Thursday, to charges of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and disorderly persons Harassment, Offensive Touching.
The charges stem from multiple incidents that took place at The Boondocks Fishery in Red Bank, where Mendez-Romero and the minor victim had previously worked together.
According to court documents, Mendez-Romero admitted to touching the victim on her breasts in an offensive manner while they were on duty.
The reported incidents occurred between June of 2020 and February 10, 2021, at two separate Boondocks Fishery locations.
Mendez-Romero is expected to face probation, a no-contact order with the victim, and a prohibition on any contact with anyone under the age of 18 when he is sentenced before Judge Chad N. Cagan on July 28, 2023.
