SECAUCUS, NJ – Kendjy Philippe, a 28-year-old man from Jersey City, was arrested by detectives from the Secaucus Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit on Tuesday, following a series of car burglaries in the Harmon Cove Townhouse complex.

The initial report came from a resident of Sandpiper Key on May 4, 2023, who notified the police that her vehicle had been burglarized and money stolen. Further investigation revealed that Philippe had also entered two other vehicles and attempted to burglarize a third.

The Anti-Crime Unit detectives gathered evidence from the crime scenes, leading to Philippe’s identification and subsequent arrest at his Jersey City residence. He now faces charges of burglary, theft, and criminal attempt to commit both crimes. Philippe is currently held in the Hudson County Jail.
