Arrest Made in Bronx attempted murder investigation

BRONX, NY – The New York City Police Department has reported an arrest in connection with an assault that occurred on Friday, around 1:40 pm. The arrested individual, Myles Cosom, a 23-year-old male residing at 1075 University Avenue, Bronx, NY, has been charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal use of a firearm, and criminal possession of a firearm.

The incident involved the shooting of a 21-year-old male victim in the back at 1406 Merriam Avenue. The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. Anyone with additional information regarding this incident is asked to call NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
