ALBANY, NY – Troop T, a division of the New York State Police, observed their annual Memorial Ceremony yesterday. The event, held to honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, drew a somber crowd.
Leading the ceremony were Major Scott Field, Troop T Commander, and Matthew Trapasso, the Chief of Staff for the New York State Thruway. The ceremony attracted Members of the State Police, Executive Staff, Thruway Personnel, as well as friends and family of the fallen officers.
The Memorial Ceremony served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the dedicated members of the New York State Police, whose lives were tragically cut short while safeguarding the community.
