Four Arrested in Deadly Frostburg State Shooting Case

FROSTBURG, MD – The Frostburg State University Police Department and the Maryland State Police Apprehension Team made a significant break in a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday, May , resulting in five gunshot victims and one fatality.

Four suspects are currently in custody in connection with the incident, including Benjamin Laurent Atyam, a Frostburg State University student, and Javon Vinson Epifanio, both of Baltimore. They were arrested on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

Additionally, on Tuesday, Malik Nigel Lewis, 19, and Daiquan Tyrone Raymond Guy, 21, another Frostburg State University student, were also apprehended at separate residences in Baltimore.

All four men are being charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and numerous related offenses. Each of them is currently being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

The investigation continues into the shooting incident on College Avenue, which resulted in the death of 20-year-old Alexander Ramon Redondo.
