Two shot, one dead in Brooklyn shooting

Brooklyn, NY – Two people were shot, leaving one dead Saturday night in East New York.

At approximately 9:29 p.m., NYPD officers responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting incident in front of 902 Drew Street.

Upon arrival, officers found a 33-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds and a 31-year-old female victim with a graze wound to the shoulder.

Both individuals were transported to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center by Emergency Medical Services.

The 33-year-old male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the 31-year-old female is currently in stable condition.

At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, with law enforcement officials actively working to gather evidence and interview witnesses.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
