New York Man Pleads Guilty to Transporting Minors for Illicit Sexual Conduct

TRENTON, NJ – Berry Norman, a 35-year-old man from Bronx, New York, admitted to transporting minors across state lines to engage in illicit sexual conduct on Tuesday.

Before U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi in Trenton federal court, Norman pleaded guilty to interstate travel to engage in illicit sexual conduct. He admitted to inviting two minor female victims to travel with him from Ohio to New Jersey on February 24, 2021, with the intent of engaging in sexual acts or producing child [censored]ography.

The charge Norman pleaded guilty to carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The sentencing has been scheduled for October 3, 2023.
