Cranford Police Respond to Multiple Attempted Vehicle Thefts

CRANFORD, NJ – The Cranford Police Department is investigating three separate reports of attempted motor vehicle thefts over the last weekend.

In the first two incidents, suspects attempted to break into a Kia and an Audi respectively, but failed to gain entry.

The third incident took place on Elizabeth Avenue where a suspect was seen fleeing in a dark colored SUV. No entry was made into the vehicle in this case either.

The Cranford Police Department is encouraging anyone with useful information to contact their Detective Bureau at 908-709-7345 or 908-709-7346.
