Southeast D.C Shooting Leaves Man Injured

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man was shot late yesterday afternoon in Southeast D.C. The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting.

Officers arrived at a local hospital to investigate a report of a shooting at approximately 5:44 pm. Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was conscious and breathing. Officers determined that the victim was shot at the 2900 Block of Minnesota Street.

Police issued a lookout for a person of interest, a man wearing dark clothing. No further information has been released at this time.
