CHILLUM, MD – A fatal hit-and-run case is being investigated by the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit. The victim, 28-year-old Henok Geteta of Hyattsville, was struck by a vehicle in the early hours of June 25, around 2:10 am near the intersection of East-West Highway and Chillum Manor Road.
The driver of the vehicle, described as a black pickup truck, fled the scene. Geteta was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
