ELIZABETHTOWN, PA- A Powerball® ticket with Power Play® sold at 1278 South Market Street, Elizabethtown, proved to be a $100,000 winner in the Saturday, July 15 drawing.

The lucky ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn – 2, 9, 43, 55, and 57 – and the red Powerball® 18, securing a prize of $100,000, less applicable withholding. Had the ticket not included the $1 Power Play® option, its value would have been $50,000. The Power Play® multiplier drawn for this win was two.

For their contribution to the winning moment, GIANT Food Stores receives a $500 bonus as a token of appreciation.

The identity of the fortunate winner remains a mystery until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. The Pennsylvania Lottery urges all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchase to safeguard their winnings.

For online players, winnings automatically appear in their accounts after the claim has been processed. Those with winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer can visit palottery.com for more information on how to file a claim.

The impact of this win extends beyond the grand prize, as more than 181,500 other PA Lottery Powerball® tickets won various amounts in the drawing. Among these, over 37,100 tickets were purchased with Power Play® and more than 15,300 tickets with Double Play®. Players are encouraged to check every ticket thoroughly after each drawing to claim their prizes and celebrate their own victories.
