Man Attacked, Robbed by Armed Mob on NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK, NY – A 43-year-old man is in critical condition after being assaulted and robbed by a mob aboard a subway train in Bushwick last weekend.

On Saturday, July 8, at around 4:20 AM, a 43-year-old male was exiting a northbound “M” train at Wyckoff Avenue subway station when a group of unknown individuals approached him.

The attackers knocked him to the ground, held a knife to his wrist, and punched, kicked, and twisted his left leg, causing serious physical injury.

They also took approximately $100 from him before fleeing on foot.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital in serious but stable condition.
