Man Charged for Knocking Woman Out During Domestic Dispute

UTICA, NY – Michael Ferdarko, a 35-year-old resident of Utica, has been arrested by the Utica Police Department following a domestic incident that occurred on Saturday, July 16.

Utica Police units arrived at a residence on the 1200 block of Catherine St after receiving a report about the incident.

Upon arrival, the victim informed the officers about the incident, detailing that a male acquaintance had assaulted her and knocked her unconscious. The victim regained consciousness and promptly informed the police of the incident.

Ferdarko, who was found at the scene by the police, was taken into custody without any complications.

He was transported to the Utica Police Department and has been charged with Strangulation in the second degree and Harassment in the second degree.
