Taxi Driver Robbed at Knifepoint in Manhattan

NEW YORK CITY, NY – An incident of robbery occurred on Wednesday, June 21, around 8:00 pm.

The victim, a 46-year-old male taxi driver, was flagged down by an unknown individual in the vicinity of West Street and Charles Street.

Upon entering the taxi, the individual displayed an unknown sharp object and demanded money from the victim.

Fearing for his safety, the victim handed over approximately $10, and the assailant fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The driver did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
