Scattered Showers, Thunderstorms to Blanket Maryland Today

BALTIMORE, MD – Today, expect scattered showers and thunderstorms to develop between 2 pm and 5 pm, followed by showers and the possibility of thunderstorms after 5 pm.

Some of these storms could be severe, bringing damaging winds and heavy rainfall. The high temperature will reach around 91 degrees. A south wind will blow at 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80%, and new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms will continue, mainly before 11 pm.

Some of these storms may also be severe, bringing heavy rainfall. The low temperature will be around 73 degrees. A south wind will blow at 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80%, and new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.

On Tuesday, the weather will improve with partly sunny skies and a high temperature near 86 degrees. A west wind will blow at 13 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.
