NYPD Release Sketch of Fugitive Murder Suspect

The New York City Police Department seeks help from the public to identify a suspect wanted for questioning in a murder case.

On Thursday, June 2, 2022, around 5:53 PM, a 61-year-old man was found in front of 1898 Harrison Avenue with a stab wound to his back and a head laceration. He was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital in critical condition. Sadly, on Saturday, July 8, the victim succumbed to his injuries.

He was later identified as Jose Cruz , of Harrison Avenue in the Bronx.

The individual being sought is a male with a medium complexion, aged approximately 30 to 45 years, and standing around 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
