WARWICK TOWNSHIP, PA – On Saturday, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department (NLCRPD) officers responded to a disturbance at 1008 Lititz Pike, near the Giant grocery store.

Witnesses reported an adult male, identified as Anthony Belfere, causing disruptions and “fighting with customers”.

Belfere, already known to officers, resisted arrest, assaulting two of them. Suspected to be under the influence, he was eventually detained and taken to Lancaster County Prison.

He now faces charges, including disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault on a police officer.

Both officers were unharmed and have resumed their duties. NLCRPD is urging anyone with information to get in touch.
