Female Bicyclist Killed in Hit and Run

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – On Saturday, August 26, officers from the Baltimore County Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist at the intersection of Rossville Boulevard and Franklin Square Drive. Aimee K. Whiteford, 46, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Crash Team determined that Ms. Whiteford was traveling eastbound on Rossville Boulevard when she was struck by a westbound vehicle.

The driver did not remain at the scene. Based on the investigation, the suspect vehicle is identified as a black 2012 or 2013 Toyota Highlander with damage to its right side-view mirror, fog light assembly, and headlamp.

The Baltimore County Police Department is actively seeking information that could lead to the identification of the driver.
