MANHATTAN, NY – Chester Taylor, 37, and Darius Hastings, 37, have been sentenced to 20 years-to-life in state prison for the 2016 shooting of 26-year-old Pressie Taylor Jr. in Harlem.

The victim, also known as “ASAP Press,” suffered a fatal seizure approximately a year and a half after the shooting.

The incident occurred when Mr. Taylor Jr. contacted Taylor to rent a luxury car for a music video.

Taylor failed to deliver the cars despite receiving most of the rental fee upfront.

Both defendants were found guilty of multiple charges, including Murder in the Second Degree, on February 9.
