Smash and Grab Burglary at Joan Shepp in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – On September 5, at approximately 2:25 am, an unidentified male broke into Joan Shepp Clothing at 1811 Chestnut Street.

The suspect gained entry by removing the front glass window. Once inside, he broke a display case and stole three handbags and sunglasses.

The suspect then exited the store through the same window and fled in an unknown direction.

He is described as a black male with a beard, thin build, wearing a hat, tan jacket, black shorts, and black sneakers.

The Central Detective Division is investigating the burglary. Anyone with information is asked to contact the division.
