Man Arrested for Marion Station Murder

MARION STATION, MD – Early Sunday morning, a call reporting a shooting at a residence on the 28800 block of Hudson Corner Road led troopers and officers from the Crisfield Police Department to the location.

The primary findings revealed Morris Cotton III, a 42-year-old local, leaving the dwelling and he was apprehended.

Upon entering the residence, the officers found the victim, 53-year-old Amy Uff, who was declared dead at the scene by medical professionals.

Cotton is now facing charges of first and second-degree murder along with other related allegations.

He awaits a bond hearing in custody.
