Man Shot And Killed in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A shooting yesterday afternoon resulted in the death of a 28-year-old man in Northeast D.C..

Officers from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department were dispatched to the 1500 block of Maryland Avenue shortly after 1:30 p.m. following reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, they found Davon Fuller, a resident of Northwest DC, suffering from a gunshot wound. Fuller was taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The police are actively investigating the incident and encourage anyone with relevant information to contact them at 202-727-9099. Anonymous tips can also be sent via text to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
