Warren County Man Gets 20 to 50 Years for Child Predator Conviction

HARRISBURG, PA – Attorney General Michelle Henry announced a prison sentence of 20 to 50 years for Mason Swanson, 33, of Columbus Township, Warren County. Swanson pleaded guilty to seven felony counts of child [censored]ography possession and was deemed a sexually violent predator.

Swanson’s conviction follows a previous charge involving indecent assault and corruption of minors for sexual contact with a 13-year-old child.

Investigations revealed child [censored]ography files on Swanson’s electronic devices, sourced from an IP address linked to him.

Swanson confessed to regularly viewing the illicit material during an interview with investigators.

The Attorney General’s office asked anyone with information regarding child predators to report it. Swanson will also be required to register as a sexual predator for life.
