Teen Brutally Attacked by Man Inside NYC Subway Station

NEW YORK, NY – A 17-year-old male sustained facial injuries after an unprovoked attack at the Avenue P subway station on October 24. Authorities report the assailant struck the victim at approximately 10:25 a.m. before escaping on foot.

The victim, who was waiting inside the station, faced an unexpected assault resulting in swelling and bruising. Emergency Medical Services responded to the incident and transported the teenager to Maimonides Medical Center, where he received care for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have initiated an investigation but the suspect remains unidentified and at large. Officers are canvassing the area for surveillance footage and witnesses to aid in the suspect’s apprehension.

The New York City Police Department has urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward. They assure the public that all tips will be kept confidential.
