Meet the New Leaders of the NJ GOP Assembly Caucus

TRENTON, N.J. – Assembly Republicans confirmed John DiMaio to continue his role as the minority leader on Thursday. DiMaio, representing Warren, expressed gratitude for the renewed confidence from his party to lead the caucus’s efforts in addressing state issues and advocating for policies focusing on residents’ needs.

The party also announced Antwan McClellan’s promotion from whip to deputy leader, while Christopher DePhillips will take up the role of conference leader. Nancy Munoz is set to serve as the minority budget officer.

The caucus welcomed its new members Gregory E. Myhre, Paul Kanitra, Dr. John Azzariti, Dawn Fantasia, Michael Inganamort, and Al Barlas, representing various counties across New Jersey.

With the addition of the newly elected members, the Assembly Republicans will consist of 29 legislators in the forthcoming legislative session. Their agenda emphasizes economic concerns, educational reforms, and business growth within the state.
