Queens, NY — District Attorney Melinda Katz announced charges against David Daniel for the triple homicide of two tenants and his girlfriend in St. Albans, Queens. Daniel, 54, turned himself in following the attack.

Katz described the crime scene as extraordinarily brutal, with all victims being defenselessly stabbed to death. Daniel faces three counts of murder in the first and second degrees, along with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

If convicted, he could receive a life sentence without parole. Judge Scott Dunn has scheduled a court return for Daniel on November 17.

The incident unfolded on November 14 when Daniel surrendered at the 113th Precinct around 7:00 am. Police discovered the bodies of Daniel’s tenants in the basement and his girlfriend in a second-floor bedroom at 122-39 Milburn Avenue. All victims had sustained multiple stab wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
