BREEZY POINT, NY – On November 17, 2023, at approximately 12:21 PM, police responded to a 911 call reporting a found human torso at Breezy Point Beach, within the 100 Precinct area. Officers arriving at the scene confirmed the discovery of an unidentified human torso with attached legs lying on the sand.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were called to the location and pronounced the individual deceased at the scene. The ongoing investigation is being conducted to ascertain the circumstances surrounding this incident.
The cause of death is yet to be determined by the Medical Examiner. The identity of the deceased remains undisclosed pending notification of the family.
