Pedestrian Struck in Hit and Run Crash in Carlisle

CARLISLE, PA – The Carlisle Police Department is currently investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred on the evening of Saturday.

At approximately 7:42 PM, a pedestrian was struck while crossing the intersection of West High Street and North Pitt Street, near the Hamilton Restaurant.

The suspect vehicle, described as a maroon Nissan Quest minivan, was operated by a bald white male with a beard. After briefly pulling over, the driver left the scene without fulfilling legal obligations.

The collision, caught on department street cameras, shows the minivan making a left turn from West High Street to North Pitt Street when the incident occurred.

The Carlisle Police are actively seeking information on the identity of the driver or the vehicle involved. Witnesses or individuals with relevant information are asked to contact the Carlisle Police Department and reference the incident number provided in the report.
