D.C. Police Hunting for Armed Suspect After Northeast Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred shortly after 2 p.m. at the 5900 block of Foote Street in Northeast, D.C. Authorities have issued a lookout for a suspect described as a black male, who was seen wearing a dark-colored jacket and armed with a silver handgun.

As the investigation continues, the police have not released further details about the incident.
