NYC Police Seeking Assistance to Locate Missing Staten Island Teen

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in finding a missing teenager, Sury Gomez Lopez. The 16-year-old Hispanic female was reported missing on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from her residence within the jurisdiction of the 122 Precinct in Staten Island.

Sury Gomez Lopez was last seen on the same day at around 2:30 PM at her home located at 28 Giffords Lane in Staten Island. She is described as having long brown hair, standing 5 feet tall, and weighing approximately 120 lbs. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, white Nike sneakers, and a white backpack adorned with black butterflies.

The NYPD urges anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to come forward to assist in ensuring her safe return.
