Double Shooting At North Carolina Dunkin Donuts

RALEIGH, N.C. – A man and a woman were injured in a shooting incident near Dunkin’ Donuts on Western Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon. Raleigh police were dispatched to the 3800 block of Western Boulevard at approximately 12:24 p.m.

At the scene, a Dunkin’ Donuts employee reported a Chevrolet vehicle, belonging to a manager, struck multiple times by gunfire.

Both victims were initially transported by a private individual to the Wake Med Urgent Care at 601 Oberlin Road.

The male victim was subsequently moved to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the female victim was treated and released.

NC State University police issued a Wolf Alert at 1:20 p.m., informing students and faculty of the nearby danger and advising avoidance of the area. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
