Moped Bandits Rob Man in Astoria

NEW YORK, NY — On Saturday, December 16, at about 2:15 AM, a robbery occurred at the intersection of Crescent Street and 30 Avenue in Astoria, New York. Two unidentified males, armed with a firearm, confronted a 32-year-old man and forcibly took his cellphone. The assailants then escaped north on Crescent Street on a moped. The incident resulted in no injuries.

The first suspect is a male with a light complexion, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, last seen in a dark jacket, dark hooded sweatshirt, and red pants.

The second suspect, also with a light complexion and standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches, was wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a black cap at the time of the incident.

Authorities are seeking information from the public to identify and locate the suspects involved in this crime.
