SEVERN, MD – A home invasion robbery occurred on December 28, 2023, at around 6:15 p.m. in the 1100 block of Reece Road in Severn. The incident involved an assailant who attacked the victim after knocking on her door.
According to the report, the suspect splashed an unknown substance in the victim’s face, causing temporary blindness, then proceeded to assault her. During the attack, the suspect stole the victim’s cell phone and a purse containing credit cards and currency.
Officers have successfully identified the suspect through investigative efforts, and charges are pending. Police did not release the name of the suspect at this time.
