South Hackensack Police: Vehicles Must be Removed from Roads in Snow

by Charlie Dwyer

SOUTH HACKENSACK, NJ – The South Hackensack Police Department has issued a reminder to residents that, in accordance with township ordinance #205-29, all vehicles must be removed from public roadways when they are covered with snow. Failure to comply may result in vehicles being ticketed and towed.

As an alternative, residents can park their vehicles at the rear of the school closest to the sound barrier. However, parking in the main lot of Memorial School is prohibited to facilitate snow plowing for teacher parking. Additionally, parking is available at the park.

For any questions or clarifications, residents are encouraged to contact the Police Headquarters at 201-440-0042.
