15-Year-Old Arrested for Violent Robbery in Garfield Park

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A teenage boy has been taken into custody in connection with a forceful robbery at Garfield Park, as reported by the D.C. Metro Police Department’s First District.

The incident, which occurred on Sunday afternoon at around 5 p.m., prompted a response from officers to the 1000 block of First Street in Southeast., D.C. According to the victim’s account, he was assaulted by three individuals who then proceeded to rob him. Law enforcement’s quick action led to the successful arrest of one of the suspects.

Charges of robbery have been filed against the apprehended individual, a 15-year-old male from Southeast D.C. The authorities are continuing their investigation to track down the remaining suspects.
