Union Square Subway Station Perv Arrested by NYPD

NEW YORK – Rondel Hawkins, a 55-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a sexual abuse incident at the 14th Street-Union Square subway station. The New York City Police Department reported the arrest, which falls under the jurisdiction of the 13th Precinct and Transit District 4.

The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, January 10, at around 9:45 AM, involved a 32-year-old female victim. According to police reports, Hawkins approached the victim in the subway station and committed a lewd act on her jacket before fleeing. The victim did not sustain physical injuries.

Hawkins faces charges of public lewdness and sexual abuse. The NYPD continues to investigate the case and encourages anyone with further information to come forward.
