Tragic Car Crash Leads to Fatal Submersion in Harmar Township

HARMAR TOWNSHIP, PA – Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide and Collision Reconstruction Unit were called to Harmar Township following a fatal crash on Wednesday morning.

At approximately 8:06 am, first responders arrived at the scene near 6 Anchor Way, where they found a vehicle submerged in a nearby creek.

Inside the vehicle, an adult male was discovered deceased. It was also established that the vehicle had collided with a parked car in a nearby parking lot before ending up in the creek.

The identity of the deceased and the cause of the crash are under investigation.

Allegheny County Police ask anyone with information related to this incident to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous.
